Video | I’m guessing probably not unless you are from Bougainville of course, where sandals are commonly used to play the bamboo pipes. It was a pleasure to witness this bamboo band play in Arawa recently – showcasing incredible talent, speed and precision.
Video | One of my favourite places in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville, Papua New Guinea to relax and kick back – Pokpok Island. During a recent visit some of the children of Pokpok Island put on a spontaneous bamboo performance. And wow, they can really play those bamboos with a jandal!
